7 years ago, Bernard Albertson recorded a video with an important message for young people and titled it “An Old Man’s Advice“. Today in 2020, his words are more valuable and important than ever. During these challenging times we’re experiencing, young people in particular seem to be getting hit hard.
Albertson shares some of his own story with us. He’s a charismatic man with a good sense of humor, at ease with himself. But his life hasn’t been easy.
Among other challenges in his life, he spent a period of time living in an old car, and suffered tremendous loss of family members, including a wife and a daughter.
Despite all of his challenges, he maintained an inspiring worldview, and outlook on self-improvement, which he detailed for young people in his video message.
“Young people, I love you,” is how Bernard Albertson concludes his message for the younger generation, but everything he says before that is just as important. Sadly, Albertson passed away on October 18th, 2019, but his wisdom and experience live on through his videos’ power to inspire.
